Affinitea's president, a lifelong inventor and entrepreneur, has founded two innovative inventive ventures.  Mr. Priley is responsible for inventing the patented Affinitea Infusion Process and managing the development of the intellectual property, which resulted in the acquisition of 3 U.S. patents and 7 international patents (6,722,265-6,488,976-6,220,147-view patents at www.uspto.gov).

 

 In addition to overseeing the manufacturing process of the patented Affinitea Infusion Process, the most significant revolution in tea brewing since the tea bag.  Anthony has also played a pivotal role in developing Affinitea's revolutionary tea and herbal products. 

 

 In 2006 Affinitea signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Salton Inc., the makers of the George Foreman grill, to create innovative tea brewing products.  Anthony draws upon over 13 years of entrepreneurial experience in the invention and beverage industries. In 1993-2004, Mr. Priley created a beverage café (California Wines, Micro-brew beers, Specialty Coffee, Inventive Specialty Tea) concept, which included the revolutionary feature of roasting coffee and brewing beer under one roof. 

 

As a founding partner, Mr. Priley administered the construction of this specialty beverage concept (Beverage Café) with a $1,875,000 budget, drove sales from $116,000 in 1993 to $1,900,000 in 2004, through ongoing product innovation.  Anthony was responsible for managing a staff of over fifty employees.  This venture was sold in 2004. 

 

1989-1993-Prior to beginning his entrepreneurial career Mr. Priley was employed with Vision Service Plan for three years in the customer service department.  Vision Service Plan is the largest vision care insurer in California.  Anthony was a member of the Citrus Heights Incorporation Project, which resulted in the formation of the City Of Citrus Heights, CA.
