Debra Grace

Bringing a little bit of heaven into the tea experience, expresses the heart of Debra Grace, owner of Cupboard of Blessings" and her line of Heavenly Tea Gatherings" tea food delicacies.

Throughout most of her life, many of Debra's activities have kept her in the kitchen. Because of her creative side, she has funneled most of her energy into developing her own repertoire of recipes, including a variety of homemade mixes. This opened the door for her to develop her own organic scone mixes for Heavenely Tea Gatherings.

In 2003, Debra and her business partner, Valerie, merged their talents and started Heavenly Tea Gatherings, creating themed tea gatherings crowned with delightful menus and teas. Each "heavenly tea gathering" included a special program and a Heavenly BouTEAque where Debra's organic scone mixes were sold in addition to other tea delicacies. Heavenly Tea Gatherings hosted a complete line of tea foods under its own private label---teas, shortbread tea cookies, fruit infused crème honeys, lemon curds, and Debra's organic scone mixes.

At the end of 2007, Debra became sole owner of Heavenly Tea Gatherings and launched a new business Cupboard of Blessings.

Bringing tea catering to an end paved the way for new tea dreams and pursuits. Heavenly Tea Gatherings now serves as Debra's exclusive line of tea foods. The scone mixes (organic regular and organic spelt) are available for tea businesses to serve as the featured scone for their menus, and to sell as a retail item, if desired, under the private label of each individual tea business. The scone mixes are also available for tearoom use and retail sales under the Heavenly Tea Gatherings label. Debra hopes to reach tearooms and tea businesses across the country with her scone mixes, while developing a relationship with the industry that is helpful and inspirational.

Debra is presently working on a cookbook for her scone mixes. This project, along with her desire to teach women how to host tea gatherings in their homes, was the inspiration for Cupboard of Blessings. Her classes include A Cuppa Tea (simple tea basics), Gathering for Tea (the art of hosting a home tea gathering) and Heavenly Tea Scones & Delicacies (tea foods for the tea table). Debra has also created a line of tea starter sets for everyone from the newcomer to the hostess. Recently, she launched her new line of tea products for children, Kids© Tea 2.
